mj...I need some research help. Dipy told us the following:

"If there is demand for the company's products, then competition and oversupply will kill the stock. If there is little or no demand over the coming year or two, then the stock will get killed, for sure."

Now I have owned and operated businesses and have been investing for a while and I always was under the impression that demand for product was good. In all my studies or life applications I have never seen this logic before. Poor JDSU can't win either way. I thought they were eating up the competition. Perhaps the gov't needs to run everything ;).
Of course Dipy did tell us JDSU will sell for under a buck. But he has no position, he's just looking out for all of us. He don't want us to hurt ourselves. Hmmm that sounds like big gov't too.

I just can't get it. I need some guidance. Perhaps a point of reference.
