Hong Kong - Outblaze To Operate Wireless E-Mail Service 07/18/00 HONG KONG, CHINA, 2000 JUL 18 (NB) -- By Staff, itdaily. Outblaze, an IT and Internet infrastructure and consulting firm, has announced an alliance with Netline Technologies, an Australian developer of phone-managed e-mail.

Outblaze, which is backed by Richard Lis Pacific Century Cyberworks, will operate e-mail services on a Web portal based on Netline's E-Fone wireless technology.

Outblaze already provides managed technology to thousands of Web sites and businesses, and operates more than five million active e-mail accounts as well as various other technological services.

The E-Fone wireless service uses text-to-speech technology to deliver content, including e-mail, to registered users.

Gino Vitale, executive chairman of Burdekin Pacific, which owns 45 percent of Netline, said the alliance with Outblaze would enable the E-Fone technology to reach new markets.
