Sorry, but what are you saying here? Why does the S&P 500 count better than the NASDAQ? The S&P is a mix of the good (big blue chip), the bad (all other non-tech), and the ugly (tech).

I believe the NASDAQ counts more better than the S&P in the sense that it is more pure -- it's predominantly technology. Same goes for an index like XMI, which again, is predominiantly something, in that case non-tech.

And let's be clear for the lurkers, the S&P 500 or the Dow are not exchanges, generic or otherwise.
