Svenlar & Others:

I know that the ignore feature exists. I have used it.

However, there seems to something inexcusably and woefully
wrong with a community (SI) that deems comments such as
Nicholas Gates' worthy enough that others should just look
the other way. I cannot do that. I will not do that. Some
comments are so disgusting that I would consider it personally
embarrassing to continue to associate myself to the people
that condone them.

I have more pride in my birthplace than that. I have more
respect for the people that brought me into this world than that.
I would fight to the death to protect what has been given to me.
I will not allow snot-nosed, thankless pigs like Nicholas Gates
to take liberties like that. To me behaviour like that ranks right
down there with pedophilia. It makes me physically sick.

Am I all talk and no show? Tell you what Mr. Gates...
Drop into Edmonton sometime and meet me in a dark alley.
I'll show you one of Canada's assets.

In the mean time I will no longer post here. Many others have
said they would stop posting (Nicholas Gates, John Paquet to
name two). Obviously, they can't follow through with their words.
I'm different that way. I just can't fathom being a part of the
cesspool that this place has turned into. I won't be returning.
End of story.

I wish the best to some of the fellow Canucks I've met over the
years here. Some of you have taught me things I'd never have
learned in a book...and then some.

Sincerely,

WN
