This might be a valid argument for going directly from Palomino to Barton, but the fact is that they have developed two 0.18-micron processes in the past, one for Fab25 and one for Fab30, and they are currently developing at least two 0.13-micron processes, one for Appaloosa/Thoroughbred and one for Barton/Hammer.
