07:21 ET Intel (INTC) 31.68: Salomon Smith Barney is trimming estimates... firm reduces Q3 to $0.08 from $0.11, 2001 to $0.47 from $0.54, and 2002 to $0.70 from $0.75... current consensus estimates for the respective periods are $0.10, $0.51, and $0.70... for the Q3 period, firm also reducing rev. est. to $6.24 bln from $6.64 bln (consensus $6.4 bln).

It makes you wonder who was buying INTC. Between INTC and IBM, things might be weak in tech land today.
