Not to interject something completely irrelevent but this morning when I turned in for my daily dose of humor from CNBC, I noticed for the past hour or so, they are not showing the futures on the screen...it is normally on from 6:00 to 9:15 ...it irritates me and I would like to know what happen...i know, don't sweat the small stuff...

George, valuation metrics are very important to my long term outlook. If you remember in April last year, I advanced the hypothesis that valuations will over a very long time (7 to 10 years) come back to the norm, and thus my tenet that the markets will be locked in that large trading range for a long period, allowing earnings to catch up with current excessive valuations.

That is why I cannot get excited by the Dow and S&P 500 at these levels no matter what the charts are saying.

I agree completely.
