Very interesting. I admit, as I have gotten older, the warnings about rock and overstimulation seem less overblown. Nevertheless, the mutual dependency is exaggerated. Most rock songs still have more to do with romance than sex, and most are fairly clean- cut. Some portion are definitely highly sexually charged, or at least filled with allusions, but they are not characteristic or necessary for rock to exist. As for the music itself, it is not inherently sexier than jazz........
