Most interesting chart In Ian McAvity's "Deliberations" letter. He points out that the Dow is about 43 times the price of an ounce of gold -- an historic extreme. In January of 1980, the Dow was equal in price to one ounce of gold. The two previous high extremes in this ratio were in August of 1929 and February of 1966, two big tops in the market. The present relationship suggests a lower Dow and/or higher gold.

First blood is in with BRCM going for $46.80. The other four not doing that well (g). They may go with minimal gains and losses here in the next hour. One question I have is was the excursion under $36.5 in TARO a fake or a real breach? I can buy it here at a discount of more than a buck to my last sell, but am no slo sure if it really broke or not. Well, idf it was always so "sure" it would not be a problem (g).
