11:56 ET Sector Watch: Semiconductor : -- Technical -- Last week, the Semiconductor Index' (SOX) break of its 200-day simple moving average got quite a bit of press. Today, the SOX went down to touch its 200-day moving average, which now stands at 625, and bounced off it. The index is currently trading in the middle of its intraday range at 631. If it should break below 625, the SOX should have subsequent support around 620. To the upside, look for first resistance around 640.
