Not that there is never any danger from any geneticly modified foods

If you believe in evolution, ALL foods are genetically modified.

And if you eat any food that has been hand pollinated, as virtually all food plant strains have at one time or another, you're eating foods that have been genetically modified by human intervention.

We're just getting more efficient at it.

Of course that doesn't answer all the questions. Some of these modifications may indeed be dangerous, just as cros polinting deadly nightshade with lettuce, assuming it would "take," might well produce a deadly salad.

But the assumption that genetic modification necessarily equals evil means that all nature is evil.
