Sorry, with the Athwipe guy around flying the Intel suckup banner high, accusations of "name calling" have a funny ring to them. You guys can keep repeating the same silly Athlon rumors between yourselves all you want, the P4 will still be a POS.

RE: So, you can't handle a discussion on platform stability without resorting to name calling? That lifetime Monopoly get out of jail free card is showing a lot of wear and tear.

While I agree that namecalling is petty and immature, whining about it without following through is almost as bad, and just as annoying. It is pretty clear that Mani isn't monitoring every message on the thread, but it is also clear that he doesn't need to, or shouldn't need to. The readers monitor it and let him know of problems by PM or email. From the front page of the thread: "I ONLY check my PM message box, so to send messages use PM, or email me at manisd@yahoo.com"

Those "get out of jail free cards" are because nobody is concerned about it enough to take the steps to correct it.

Or you can just use "ignore" like many people have done.

If you have already notified Mani and he has simply ignored you, then I stand corrected.

FWIW,

JJ
