Not in light of the fact that gore conceded. Besides as I pointed out, hardly anybody heard it.

The real problem with the press is that they don't understand their own statistics. They had Gore winning early (these numbers are wrong, but you get the point) by a vote of 48% for Gore and 52% for Bush and had "preliminarily" called Gore the winner. Throughout the night the numbers fluctuated, but they were going by polls that had margins of error of about 5%. So those number could have been Gore 43% and Bush 57% or Bush 47% and Gore 53%. What the news media needs to realize before the next election is that when there is a margin of error, it needs to be used.
