At the risk of opening another can of worms, I saw Planet of Apes this weekend. Aside from the fact that it's a braindead movie, it was ironic to see Charlton Heston in the role of an elder ape, on his death bed, holding a (human-made) gun and warning his son, General Thade, leader of the Ape army, to beware of man's ability to use technology for destructive purpose.

Al, look who's talking. Now that's funny. Saying it probably almost put him on his death bed. <g>

I understand dubya has a poster of Heston on his bedroom wall. Laura says its okay.
