Jim, <<<Strangely enough all I read is that how AMD is stupid...>>>

Actually, I don't wish AMD any ill will. If you can show me how I can make money investing in AMD, I'm more than willing to listen.

The same goes for AMDroids, I don't wish them bad fortune. My feelings about them are also mixed. Although I disagree with many (most) of them, there are some that I respect to some degree. But, I do think some of them are looney tunes in real life. In some ways they are like Dr. Solomon on the 3rd Rock TV show. They must be real life aliens from another planet. I only wish they had a better leader than the "big cheese head" from their home planet.

AMD, IMO, is a one man company. Jerry Sanders is a vain individual, looking out (to an outrageous degree) for himself. In many situations like this, where the leader has absolute control, the company (organization) does not survive when the despot is forced to give up the reins. I think the same will happen to AMD.

I don't necessarily believe that Intel will be a better company with AMD gone.
