Palm Beach county supplied MORE THAN HALF OF ALL OF GORES votes IN THE STATE in the second counting(whilst accounting for only 8% of the vote in the primary count)... I take it you mean "over 50% of the net gain for Gore from the automatic recount to the final official count came from Palm Beach County"? Since the statewide net gain was less than 1200 votes, we're talking about much smaller numbers here. It doesn't alter the fact that elections officials botched the election so badly on Election Day that they changed the result.
