But, on my own behalf, I beg that we start by addressing the most egregious kinds of inhumanity and be more understanding of the more benign types. That is not to say that we should condone it. i'd be curious to hear what examples of these two types you were thinking when you wrote this sentence. PS actually i agree with elmer that this is not a big deal but as you realize people say things without considering all the assumptions behind words. sometimes it is useful to point them out.
