Max: Yes, it IS as bad as it sounds, and the fallout may take many weeks or months to pass. More importantly, my ISP has a bad case of it (@home) and I am getting bombarded by packets. I saw it within a few minutes of it starting and immediately started doing traceroutes and some sniffing to try and figure out what was going on .... for a while I thought I was infected directly, or that someone had breeched my PC ...... even though I have a personal firewall running. Didn't take long to figure out that it was @home's servers that were affected and they are just broadcasting packets out by the thousands.

Shows where my head is; skimming through, trying to get caught up, I read that bottom link as "digitalis land" instead of "digital island." Oh, to be able to put spaces in web addresses. LOL
