PALM still double shipments of competitors per gartner survey, the statement" PALM Still leads in market share", is proper journalistic and should be proper ANALyst grammar, slant and bias is the statement "ALTHOUGH PALM still leads in market share" and it has been this same journalistic bias and sentiment that is adding bias to every earnings report that we have all heard the past year, will they do the same and accentuate the positive now that the economy is recovering and the market will be recovering ahead of the economy?......I doubt it, but what is the significance of perpetual negative slanted biased reporting....probably one extra week or two of misery....thats all....Oh yes, you may think, then so what....well it is just this kind of wrong thinking that and wrong lazy writing and ANALysis that caused Greenspan's 2nd recession in the first place....if we all became more critical and demanding news consumers, by emailing complaints and corrections, the markets and our shareholder pocketbooks would not have had to endure this long a correction in the first place....this time I intend to do my part as a demanding news consumer....and the rest of you. Meanwhile, on the Gartner Shipments survey....the important thing to remember is the actual CRITICAL MASS the actual impact on BRAND and long term earnings that PALM shipping almost 1 million units means....

1 million units........

More than 2 million PDA units were shipped, 75% or more were PALM OS based devices....

1,500,000 PALM OS units.........that is a lot of stuff, and bodes very well, even in these ?lean? times?

I am,
Truly your$,
