Having said that, I predict that Cisco will close at $21.5 tomorrow.

>>> no smart person predicts short term<<< You got me covered, I never claimed to be smart. The last time I opened a fortune cookie, it said..."go back and repeat the 4th grade".

Short term vs long term on stock prices...

Mindmeld... I believe that your viewpoint is shared by many. But try this out....

The further out you make a stock price prediction the more variables that have to be accounted for...interest rates, over all market trend, wars, politics...etc.

With CSCO we are making a two day prediction with only one variable.... that being that the investment world will like or dislike the results reported by CSCO.

Which prediction would you like to make in order to burnish your self image? I'd take my chances on the short term prediction.

I'm sure that Gottfried has got a chart somewhere that will verify the rational for our optimism.
