I've been putting some dollars into "the last mile"

Any suggestions?

My guess is the last mile will be wireless...

I agree. My wireless investments are QCOM (CDMA will eventually win everywhere because of its spectrum efficiency), AHAA (my favorite in RF IC's) and I'm even considering putting some conservative money in PCS (Sprint is very aggressive and must be taking huge hunks out of the fixed wire companies...in a great position because of their early adoption of CDMA). BTW none of these are cheap at the moment but watch for inevitable fire sales (AHAA was around $13 in March/April and QCOM also dipped below $50 a few months ago.)
