Within the last four years I went through the college admissions process with my two kids. GWB's SAT scores (in the 1200s) should NOT have gotten him into any of the Ivys except for the fact of who his old man was.

Your contention that Harvard is easier to get into than, say, the University of Virginia or University of Illinois is way off the mark.
