LG- Are you still holding out possibility that Aug. 7th turn is some sort of low? Breakdown of COMPX here looks pretty dire, as with previous 2 "fake breaks" of support in May/June. We could blip up, but it looks lower still (after Aug 7th) from my perspective, and I wondering if we're hitting another failed turn date. Csco, of course, could save the day by lying <G>

LG. Thanks My PC was down for an entire day. Actually 1 1/2 days Just as of this 1/2 hour back on line. boards.fool.com Here is the post in its entirity Steve & all. Windows Millenium Sucks. I froze yesterday and when I had to force reboot, the start button would not work, and all active x controls would not work. In other words I was dead in the water. My Millenium disk was in Chicago so I went out and bought another upgrade copy. Still no luck. Nothing. Took my PC to CompUSA and they told me it was hopeless, but charged me $129 for the look see. When I picked it up some young kid could not figure out why they were charging me so refunded the money. I asked him for a millenium boot disk and told him I asked the teck this AM to try that. My service order did not say what they did if anything they did so he made me one. Well that and reloading windows was all it tooks. What a FN joke. Tell the idiots what to do and they can not even try that. I ordered a new computer for Minneaoplis anyway cause this one is ancient. Since I am here more than there it makes sense to have a good PC here. Feel better tonight. M ===== Here is a post from last night where I asked someone to post on my board that my PC was down. Message is not exactly correct but you can get the idea as well as the date. boards.fool.com Mish has a "power glut" with his PC. He asked me to let everyone on the board know that he can't post until he gets it back up. Said all he could do was get into safe mode and that Windows had crashed.
