>> How do you think, what could do an Englishman without money and documents in a far from being quite
Caucasus republic? It turned out, that he was searching for a possibility to render “humanitarian assistance”.
Namely in this way a 61-year-old British citizen detained Urus-Martan district centre by law-enforcement
bodies has explained his sojourn’s reason in Chechnya. Mr Grahem Brian does not have any documents
explaining his staying in Chechnya. It is not clear, how has he get to Chechnya, why and what is he doing here.
At the moment, the compassionate Englishman is detained and will be soon conveyed to Moscow. Then,
already in Russian capital his fate will be defined by Russian special services. At the least he will be
expelled from Russia.
Though everything depends on his real aims of staying in Chechnya. An Englishman who has not drown up
any documents and who does not belong to any humanitarian organization, easily travelling through Chechnya and looking for somebody to help to, looks strangely enough, does he? <<
