Hi Pat,

Good buy there on STEM - think we nailed it.

Sir John Templeton once observed that if you are not in the market, you can't make money in the market. OTOH, you can't lose money in the market. The second thought was on my mind Fri when I went flat as I wouldn't be around yesterday; today I paid for it in missed opportunities galore. NVLS, KLAC, MU, AMAT shorts I'd have held or entered from last weeks artificial puff up by MER. Longs that signaled yesterday included MOVI and my stem cell twins (fraternal only).

Thus this AM I added to the STEM position on the move >5 (@5.01); there's a gap from a few days ago that needs filling and we worked on it some today. Also took initial ASTM trading position when it gapped up this am, at 1.8. Other trades - in and out for 2 from MOVI, I think it bounces a bit b/w 26 and 30, but watch for move > 30. Short both NVLS and KLAC on the first retrace - closed KLAC for 1.5. Took NVLS home as it breached it's 50 dMA. SOX looking decidedly poor.

LVLT - other than an intra day pop, I'd pass - looks range bound to me 3.8 X 5.2. 34 BBs are narrowing, and it's about in the center of them, but other indicators are not showing much. Well below the 50 dMA, and vol had been falling until today when it tested and failed 5, and closed down. Let me know if it gets over 5.5 on some increasing volume (like 20M+ per day) - it'll need it as there's about 90M shares before the gap just above 7.25. Not certain they have the finances to stay around long enough to trade through that.

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
