The following expertise will be considered to be essential: (a) 1-2 years of experience in SQL programming in an Oracle environment, (b) practical knowledge in one or more areas of pre-clinical drug discovery such as genomics, medicinal chemistry, assay development and pharmacology, and (c) interest and ability to design customized applications for accessing, processing and using biologically relevant data in drug discovery. The following expertise will be considered to be an advantage: (a) practical experience with ActivityBase or similar drug discovery database applications, (b) knowledge of HTML programming and website administration, (c) general intellectual interest in drug discovery and bioinformatics.
