JW - There is really quite a big diference here. Brakes hard on v. not hard on.

Can we settle the issue of how bad/big was the 92 slowdown?

I'd like to demonstrate my point with that info.

Best regards,

L

<<so we are in a standstill until rates are no longer expected to become cheaper
the Fed needs to announce they are done, when they are done>>

JW: I agree with you...IMO, many large companies have lots of new spending on standby until their visibility improves and they have some confidence that we have moved beyond the worst of the economic downturn....Greenspeak needs to provide some reassurance and make it VERY CLEAR when the FED is done lowering rates and tell us why that will happen. He should have an inter-meeting rate cut this week (right after the Cisco news <G>) and make this the final cut. Greenspeak needs to show some real leadership as he tries to navigate the US economy through the eye of one of its worst economic storms.

Best Regards,

Scott
