That is very interesting, as I always thought the "poem served the poet" to express the feelings and wishes of the writer.. I guess that is why I am not a poet or a writer..<g>.

And a further quote of yours.. "that letting go is often the most reasonable, loving, and honest thing to do."

is so very true.. I have some letting go to do.
