Pravin:

"The Tornado server destroys all
other dual server platforms with the
revolutionary dual point-to-point, high-speed
266MHz system buses to the north bridge
chipset. Nothing else even compares!"

Looks like AMD incursions into INTC's previously uncontested server space are about to begin...and by all indications, with a bit of a flourish! (Incremental revenues for AMD, declining margins for INTC)

Did you also see it only cost $53 to upgrade from a pair of 1 GHz Athlon MPs to a pair of 1.2 GHz :(

I messed around with the configuration and updated the price. With 2 1.2ghz MPs, 512MB Registered PC2100 DDR memory, a CD R/W, a 15,000 RPM drive, top of the line sound and video cards, a 19inch monitor, an 8 port switch and Win 2000, it only cost a little bit more then the Dell P133c (133mhz Pentium with a 2GB HD and 16 megs of memory) I bought a few years back.
