a good clean joke:
A young woman in New York was so depressed that she decided to end her
life by throwing herself into the ocean. She went down to the docks and
was about to leap into the frigid water when a young sailor saw her
tottering on the edge of the pier, crying.
He took pity on her and said, "Look, you have so much to live for.
I'm off to Europe in the morning, and if you like, I can stow you away
on my ship. I'll take good care of you and bring you food every day."
Moving closer, he slipped his arm round her shoulder and added,
"I'll keep you happy, and you'll keep me happy."
The girl nodded yes. After all, what did she have to lose? Perhaps
a fresh start in Europe would give her life new meaning.
That night, the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a
lifeboat. From then on, every night he brought her three sandwiches and
a piece of fruit, and they made passionate love until dawn.
Three weeks later, during a routine inspection, she was discovered
by the captain. "What are you doing here?" the captain asked.
"I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she explained. "I
get food and a trip to Europe, and he's screwing me."
"He certainly is," the captain said. "This is the Staten Island
Ferry."

ATTACK: 1. To set upon forcefully, 2. to assail with unfriendly or bitter words, 3. to set to work upon (this probably describes yesterdays actions best)4. taking the initiative in a struggle, 5. attempting to break down resistance by repeated blows or shots. 6 continuous pestering 7. an offensive or antagonistic action. 9 the beginning of destructive action. 10. a fit of sickness. 11. an active episode of chronic or recurrent disease.

Not all but several of the above could be applied to the posts of yesterday.

DIS-PUTE: 1. to call into question. 2. to engage in argument. 2. verbal controversity. 3. quarrel

I believe there is a difference.........and if you think not then maybe we should change the header to include "Dispute."

Why can't people agree to disagree......sometime it is not what you say but how you say it.

I hate banning but had we not banned in the past this board would not exist now.......I have no doubt about that. Several have come to destroy.........that's the reason for banning.

We have one heck of a lot of people still around this board. A lot of lurkers, many more than those posting.
I went back about a month ago and to my surprise we still had 60 people posting in a two week period.

Today is my day off and I hope I do not have to spend it with this conversation all day. You and everyone on this board know what attacks are........you know it when ya do it, at least I do.

When I attack i usually have a motive involved.........and I can feel it. Most times I am very angry, pissed off, wanta get back at someone for some sorta hurt I have had. I am jealous of another person, the devil made me do it. Whatever.......Please stop.

All actions I take are with love for this board and it's porchers.

JW I love ya and ya know, hopeing you are getting it. I understand your hurt, I been that and done that. The difference is I accepted my loss and moved on.

Jw I have so enjoyed your recent postings but not the attacks.

Can't we all just get along???
