That makes perfect sense. As more lay-offs are made to cut costs- A fewer number of workers has to carry the same load. Hence productivity increases. I'm not sure that is all that great a news item for those workers that have to carry the extra load with the same pay... Even less so for the ones who were cut. <ng>

Just like me to see the bad side of it. <g>
