Sometimes I want to respond but instead I bite my tongue......like now.

That is something else that works.

JW - How about regualr forecasts of what we think the analysts will come out with next?

They are becoming so predicatable it is getting to be fun.

Come on thread lets have a bet on what our resident genii are going to say tomorrow about CSCO.

Here is my bet on two possiblities:-

1. If Mr Chambers pleases....market tomorrow rallies....within three business days at least two major houses to come out and slag off CSCO with more pearls of wisdom about overvaluation and selling into strength.

2. If Mr Chambers says no sign of recovery this year or next year or for that matter this century.....market on Wednesday tanks maybe 100 pts down and not much noise from the analysts.

Then we can plot the houses announcements and see if we can guess who is going to come out and with what negative slag-off next.

imho after csco my guess is for some more doom and gloom from the genii starting next Tuesday. Afer all you don't want to be upstaged by CSCO slag-offs. You want publicity when you come out with a slag-off.

Re the semi downgrade today. If the market would ahve been nicely down there would have been real traction as it is welll a bit muted.

Still it was only to be expected after last weeks run-up.

Best regards,

L
