PCCW (0008) focus on tech dev for co clients 2001/07/31 13:23 (Infocast News) An operator intends to expand its market-share of enterprise clients, Gary Chow, Director of Enterprise Business Group Sales of PCCW (0008), said that pricing is not the weapon in the competition for enterprise clients. Tailor-made technology-related services are what those clients eye, and PCCW intends to devote to its technological development. PCCW and CISCO (4333) entered into cooperation today to provide IP telephone system to Hong Kong Baptist University. Chow said that PCCW had been negotiating with some other institutions on IP telephone systems, and the talks are expected to be finalized soon. However, no further details were revealed.
