And last time I looked 3500 votes isn't much in that county - that same county was a mine for Perot. Buchanan did very well in that county during the GOP primaries in 1992, 1996. Buchanan was the Reform candidate and that county gave Perot the most votes too according to media reports. Well, Buchanan's objective was to defeat Bush so that is perfectly consistent with his mission. In my area all of Buchanan's ads were 100% attacks on Bush, not Gore. Buchanan took his votes from Bush not Gore. Buchanan turned me off as one of Nixon's worst. He should be shunned. btw, I understand Nadar is already campaigning for 2004 and the Liberal rent-a-mobs are out protesting him.
