YES ...IMO too much of anything can KILL YOU!!! Think about it....the brightest tech guys on the plannet called the NAZ bottom 5x already....they knew "tooo MUCH" You mean the bottom isn't in? WEBX in freefall.

....they knew "tooo MUCH" <, I've concluded that most investors know just enough to be dangerous.<gg> They begin with certain assumptions which may be valid, then construct a scenario for investing... The problem is that once the underlying assumptions become known, the 'real' players have already staked out their positions because of their insider knowledge. Although some of them got burned during the bubble and ensuing mania. (even smart money can't predict the stampede of a herd mentality)

This is a very good point. I know a lot about the topic, but....it is hard to argue that I haven't drank the koolaid. I think that part of being successful in the industry is believing in the big picture future for the internet. The mistake is in thinking that the attitudes and beliefs that make you successful in the sector translate to meaningful input in the stock market.
