Not a moving average, but cumulative sum. It's suppose to be an oversold..., overbought indicator. <<

da cheif answered *NO* it wasn't worth the attention. <smile>

Picked it out of the June issue of Dan Sullivan's "The Chartist" newsletter. (Who is down 10% on the year to date trading stocks)
He uses it as an oversold/overbought indicator with -4000 as an oversold signal. The lowest reading was -3380 on June 14th. Suggesting the markets will go down further before a bottom.

As a cumulative study one would add and drop one day for each and then take the net differenace, I've not taken the time to work it up, but may. There's thousands of these formulas..., wanted to know if he'd ever used it.

I don't believe I'll bother with it...!
