I would assume thats a REAL bad omen, that says lower rates is not stimulating demand, no?

Ild:

This is exactly what I have been noting for the last few months. Now it is becoming increasingly visible. It is not a linear descending line, but more a zig-zag. Nevertheless, the trend is established. Hello retailers.

Attended the big Oshkosh shindig during the last week of July. As always, it was great fun, but aircraft and aircraft equipment sales are down significantly year-over year. Many companies commented that sales were down as much as 50%.

Used aircraft, especially higher end units, are starting to flood into the market and prices are responding as one would expect. Corporate twins and jets are always early victims of emerging liquidity problems and always smack used aircraft markets in the teeth.

Best, Earlie
