Labels are always inadequate. Their limited usefulness is completely negated by the problems they cause.

This does not change the fact that the philosophical bent of both major American parties is completely obvious.

I would hardly call the Cultural Revolution in China a conservative movement. Not unless I was a desperate demolib who would do or say anything to protect their precious little party.
