No, JF, abandoning your country during war is treason. Kerry (Mass.) is a traitor. It will be made widely known if he attempts to run for president. It will cost him votes. It would have cost him the presidency, but Bush will be unbeatable. The assault on America by the left has already failed. That is not treason, but I'll tell you what is treason.....selling weapons to an avowed enemy, eg Iran, like Reagan did. Unites States Constitution Section. 3. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. United States Code Sec. 2204. Definitions As used in this chapter - (2) the term ''enemy'' means any country, government, group, or person that has been engaged in hostilities, whether or not lawfully authorized, with the United States; Now I've told you what treason is. We were not engaged in hostilities with Iran, so Reagan could not have committed treason.
