Patron. . . what the Emulex hoaxster did was very different than what analysts have done. The hoaxster outright made up lies, as nasty as possible. No fact, not even pseudo ones to back it up. Analysts offer opinions. News wires are supposed to offer FACTS. Comparing the two is a little unfair. Analysts have enough stacked up against them now, but the Emulex hoaxster broke a bunch of pre-existing laws. As an aside, I think it's rare when an analyst moves a stock 80 points in two directions in one day -- they don't wield that type of power as opposed to a news service, which supposedly only reports facts, not opinions.
