I don't think their routing software has been battle tested in the core of the internet as CSCO's and JNPR has. They might have a better box but their software might not beas reliable or stable as CSCOs and JNPRs. Its unlikey that a carrier will trust their routing core to unproven software. Bay Networks always had the higher performance box but they suffered due to lack of software stability. I have my own doubts about AVCI. And JNPR will have to withstand a price war. Its better to look at SONS and ONIS who have actually raised guidance. Anindo
