Ditchdigger,
Lovely area around Lake Champlain and Lake George and of course Vermont which is one of my favorite states.
Never studied the geology of the lake area so that is interesting about the faults. Please do keep me informed of the wooly bears and nut situation up there this fall, I usually get up in that neighborhood for a fall vacation, but this year we are heading south rather than north.

Today I saw one of my winter signs which I have been waiting for, grasshoppers and lots of them! Neighbor has a large field adjoining my property which never gets sprayed and a simple daily walk around my back acres yields a good reading on the local grasshopper crop. I have found a decent correlation between a large number of grasshoppers over the summer and hard winters in our area. Just one of dozens of natural observations I weave in with the scienctific views to get my winter guesstimates in the hex sign shop, ggg.

All the best,

Roebear

OT/DD. Please do. Have always found local folklore

about weather and climate interesting though not familiar with but a few tidbits of it.

I think Roebear uses some from his part of Pennsylvania. Remember him talking about it, late last summer and early in the fall, when he was outlining his winter forecasts.

BTW, worth repeating that those forecasts sure helped me and the others here who paid attention to them.

Remember you were interested in PLUG and several other fuel cell stocks early this year.

What kind of trading strategy have you used with them in the intervening months? And how have the results been?

Right now I'm about 85% cash after selling more LOILY today.

Cheers,

Isopatch
