CB: Unemployment numbers don't tell the tale. They include only those who have enrolled for unemployment benefits and they drop those who get discouraged and quit looking for work. They don't include those who received (or think they will receive) a severance and are seeking employment on their own. Also, don't forget the "ghost numbers" created by the BLS (on the employment side) with respect to their "estimates" (which compound like crazy) of the jobs that are created in small business.
