Drift toward 16,
then it may finally bottom out in low teens.
The growth rates for any technology companies are stuck in single digits for next few quarters if they don't go down.
the market is assuming that once it bounces out of the current mess the companies will go right back to double digit top line growth. Actually most of the double digit growth we've seen over the last two years were artificially created by unsound investments in technologies. VCs were getting free rides on IPOs. A high percentage of their investmensts had triple digit returns. and old companies got so afraid of being left behind and they bought top of the line PCs for employees who just need PCs for word documenting and presentations. don't get me wrong. i'm not all pessimitic about tech companies. but investors are still wired up in the '99 market.
