I should mention that while the tech breakout looks like a failure at this juncture, the non-tech breakout is still very solid looking.

Both XMI and NYA broke the equivalent line, the DT line off the May highs, and they even had good looking backtests. Yesterday's lows in these indices, more or less, were backtests of the breakout points.

The Dow is the beast in between. It broke thru the line and then went under yesterday only to close right up to the line again from underneath. So it's a borderline failure at this point.
