consumer credit is tied closely with spending
this is what I expect to gather steam downhill
as layoffs mount, so does spending shrink
I know of two layoffs among friends now
but really big layoffs at two companies where friends work
mainly LUcent and EMC-squared
I suggest they remove the "squared" and be officially EMC
that would be a great cutback

the 2ndHalf Recovery could easily be marred by spending cutbacks
from households
I am doing my part
got another Eddie Bauer $15 coupon
gonna buy a golf shirt for $5 net

I really dont think the tax cuts will do much for spending
paying down credit cards might be the biggest impact
