if productivity only 3/4 of what we thought, pretty good

I still think we would have more inflation now if not for the internet, lower phone costs, lower broadband costs, lower computer costs, lower networking costs

I dont believe productivity enhancements are due to more work being done
it is from lower costs of the machines helping the work being done

the hidden pernicious cost associated with the internet is usage by workers during official business hours

Fed adds $2.13 bln in reserves via bill pass

NEW YORK, Aug 8 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on Wednesday it added $2.13 billion in permanent banking reserves by buying U.S. Treasury bills dated Sept. 30, 2001 through Jan. 31, 2002 on the open market.

Earlier, the Fed added $4.245 billion in temporary banking reserves through a round of overnight repurchase agreements.
