For any of the newly-touched "middle" voters who desire enlightenment for the first time in their lives, they will find the all the Dems ever said before Bush kicked their asses was the tiresome whine, "Washington can't afford a tax cut.". The simple fact that it ISN"T WASHINGTON'S MONEY is then as "in your face" as the refund check itself...

Of course, the Republicans finally had Luca Brazi hold a gun to William the Bastard's head and assure him that either his signature or his brains would be on Welfare Reform in 1995. He then puffed himself up as the "WELFARE REFORMING PRESIDENT" for the 1996 election, and won a second term.
