I don't think you need to show any improvement. I found your piece on bedbugs quite clever, indeed. Too bad the usual denizens haven't been around to read it yet.

If you plan to place it in a children's encyclopedia, though, I think you might want to make the paragraphs shorter. The length of yours might be a tad off-putting to their less developed minds.

I know by now your GB's but a fond memory. I've been pulling for you and hoping the surgery, anesthesia and recovery were much easier than you expected. Veritable pieces of cake. Chocolate cake, by the way, with chocolate frosting, if I may indulge the metaphor further. :)

I'm hoping you like chocolate and will return just as you are willing to have your funnybone tickled again.
