Message 16178973 Not that prices are historically high. High prices will at least cause conservation. Conservation will cause less pollution. Less pollution will cause better health. Better health will cause more happiness. Are you against anyone's pursuit of happiness? You must be! You are for capping prices. Your IQ and a $3 will get you a cappucino. What besides profits from other business ventures will fund the hydrogen research efforts? Don't say taxes because in reality they are just confiscated or diluted profits. What is wrong with the market deciding?

We are researching Hydrogen. But when it becomes economically viable, which includes safety, Hydrogen power will succeed and not a split second before. No amount of your perceived conspiracy could ever stop it. As an example, one only needs to look at the business the trucking industry took from the Rail Roads, and put most of the RR out of business. I assure you the RailRoads did everyting in their power to combat them, with a fair amount of shady dealings no doubt. Markets work.
